I got my eyes tested the other day and I've to get glasses to wear some of the time. I had glasses before at school and never really wore them, but this time I'm going to search and try to find a great pair of glasses I will love. I've been looking at glasses by Tom Ford, Micheal Kors, Paul Smith, Persol and Oliver Peoples. They all have amazing glasses but its hard to see what they would be like on just looking at them online. Does anyone know of any good places in Scotland that sell specs by designers like these?

I'm short sighted so I have to wear glasses occassionally when I go see a movie or for college, when I got my newest frames I looked for some geek chic ones from a Designer but ended up finding some ones on NHS at the optician which were free and basically the same thing! love the blog btw!

Try google searching The Eyedresser (or Eye Dresser). Used to have a shop in Argyle Arcade in Glasgow but moved to Anniesland, A bit far away if you are in Edinburgh but worth it. The guy is amazing, really passionate about glasses and finding the right thing for you.
He has a selection of modern frames and the most incredible vintage collection. He ordered specific glasses in for me as he didn't have the style I was looking for at the time.
